Security - Responsible for verifying participants have appropriate, wristbands for entrance and alcohol, that no carry-ins, pets, or umbrellas are brought in, that if anyone gets unrulely that the police are called in and that no one is sneaking in under that fence. Security will not be asked to break up fights or detain people. Also need reliable individuals to assist in keeping garbage cans empty and garbage bags replaced. Volunteers will be responsible for keeping the entire festival grounds neat and presentable.
Merchandise - Friendly, helpful people needed that are able to keep separate change tills, be able to count change and handle money under pressure, be able to help people with questions about merchandise, the silent auction, or other Fest/Marquette information.
Ticket Booth - Friendly, polite, helpful people who can work under pressure making change and be responsible for handling large amounts of money. Be able to answer questions and direct people to other areas of the festival as needed.
Bartender - Must be 21 years of age to perform this duty. Job requires good customer service skills, ability to manage many tasks and work on your feet.
Information Tent - This position checks in/out volunteers for fest, distributes volunteer and musician incentives, provides information, and covers for beer tickets. Ideal candidate will be repeat volunteer to festival, but all smiling faces and people who enjoy helping others are welcome!
Hospitality - These volunteers help to provide hospitality for fest artists, including food, beverages, comfort and privacy. Attention to detail, sensitivity to confidentiality and support of others is necessary.
Beer Tickets - Must be 18 years of age to verify ID for purchase of beer tickets. Good customer service and attention to detail.
